Innovation

Innovation policy has been strongly promoted for the past 5 years. It appears as a very efficient tool for the improvement in all fields on the plant, with a strong involvement of the entire team (97% of SORF people involved in the process in 2010) and significant savings generated.

The Innovation process is “part of the job” In 2009, 118 ideas were submitted by 33 employees to the Innovation Committee for evaluation. People are encouraged to give ideas with a strong focus on specific subjects (in 2008: energy savings, in 2009: water resource preservation) or on productivity in daily work or operations.
